You kick em' I stitch em'.

Nick-names: Doc, J Doc, Doctor.
Zodiac Sign: Orion.
Age: 27...going on 21.
Gender: Male.
Sexual Orientation: Straight.
Single or Taken? Single.
Species: Centaur.
Blood-type: O- (Universal donor!).
Height: 7'2".
Weight: A lot...Hey, I got a whole extra carriage back there.
Eye Color: Brown, but has recently added scary red streaks and given himself cat's eye pupils.
Hair Color: Roan, with black streaks on his head hair.
Affiliation: The Cancer.
Religion: Gaia was destroyed but we live on.
Occupation: Surgeon, doctor.
Birth Place: The Cancer.
Location: Most probably a bar on The Cancer.
Most Used Phrase(s) Why does no-one opt for the old fashion way? (In response to sewing wounds.)
Character of Mine Most Likely to... Get waay too drunk and sing really crappy kareoke.

Physical Description: A muscular roan centaur with cat's pupils, deliberatlely red streaked eyes, an *cough* accidental tattoo that doesn't want to come off (ever-changing ink is nasty, especially DIY) and black streaks in his hair.

Personality: Reckless.

Weaknesses: Boozahol, should not touch gagets.

Strengths: Can fix anything physically wrong with you.

Likes: Loud music (but not at 7am), girls, getting into mischief, getting off charges because he is important.

Dislikes: That damn tattoo, loud noises at 7am, Aedolis.

Magic/Abilities: Power over the blood (RBCs)... none really, he's just a doctor.

Family: Only a couple of his Aunts and Uncles are talking to him but they live on the Libra. They usually only come to see him if someone gets hurt and other doctors cant treat them.

Friends: None listed yet.

Foes: Police.

History: Born and bred Cancerian, most of his close family moved to the Libra, saying it is much quieter there.

Commentary: None yet.

Threads:

Appearance: Blue skin, four arms, 6'1", gold eyes and hair. Wears loose, calico trews that are folded over at the waist; a belt with a taser and chatalain, and a dusty shirt the same colour as his eyes.

History: Has recently escaped from Aedolis, somewhere near a desert. He lived with his family in a factory. He had a reclusive lifestyle in the lower caste.

Attributes: He is a figit and tends to get nervous (due to his upbringing). Doesn't know much about anything yet but is 'willing to learn'. He's a gentle giant pretty much, most jokes or puns will go over his head and he knows little about people's customs. He likes pulling things apart but can rarely put them back together and he is a little, say... stupid.

Character most likely to...push the big red button.

Threads:

Name: Zelo.
Nick-names: 102379, mage, filth.
Zodiac Sign: unknown.
Age: 17.
Gender: Male.
Sexual Orientation: Unknown.
Species: Human.
Blood-type: A+.
Height: 5"5'.
Weight: 115 pounds. (He is very undernourished).
Eye Color: Grey-blue.
Hair Color: Brown, with premature grey streaks (due to stress).
Affiliation: Edanith and his masters: Kaenos and later Tetra.
Religion: He is told the Gods hate him.
Occupation: Slave-mage to Captain Kaenos.
Birth Place: Edanith
Most Used Phrase(s): Sorry Sir.
Character of Mine Most Likely to... Get beaten up.

Physical Description: Underweight and small due to undernourishment with multiple burn marks, bruises and scars. Has a brand on his left shoulder and wrist, marking him as the mage of Captain Kaenos.

Personality: Quiet, obedient and generally terrified of everyone. He believes that everything that has happened to him is what he deserves. He is scared of asking for anything and if he does, he feels guilty for it afterwards. He cannot deliberately disobey an order and his mind is incredibly fragile after the "conditionning" his master put him through.

Weaknesses: Physically weak, undernourished, relatively uneducated, cannot read.

Strengths: He is loyal.

Likes: Food, when he is allowed it.

Dislikes: Disobedience, punishments, his weaknesses.

Magic/Abilities: Elemental enhancer. He has control over the elements but can also enhance other people's powers (not nessecarily magic but fight prowess and other abilities too).

Family: None that he can remember. He has not been told who they were other than they were human.

Friends: None. He is not allowed any affiliation other than his master.

Foes: None. He cannot hate anyone for what he has brought upon himself.

History: Near the time of his birth it was discovered that he had elemental powers. He was taken from his parents and given to the military and used in the terraforming projects while being trained for battle. At 10 years old he was given to Captain Kaenos since then he has suffered a great deal of hardship at Kaenos's hands. Anyone near him in battle seemed to fight better and at the age of 12 it was discovered that he is an enhancer as well.

Captain Kaenos's laws of slavery: These are very hard to abide by at times and 102379 is terrified of any form of disobedience.
I must not disobey my master.
I must not touch my master.
I must not look upon my master.
I must not want anything.
I must not make requests.
I must not speak without permission.
I must not eat, bathe, urinate or deficate without permission.
I must not ask for persmission to do anything.
I must not do anything without permission.
I must not be disloyal.
I must not sleep without permission.
I must be punished.
I must not protect myself without permission.
I must protect my master.
I must accept anything my master gives me.
I must not disappoint my master.
I must not think poorly of my master nor other humans.
I must be loyal to my master's thoughts.

If he disobeys any of these he may be beaten, have his mind tortured through the mind-link, ordered to take of his headband, given conflicting orders, ordered to use his own magic to harm himself or taken to observe interrogations and tortures of other mages. He has seen mages have their bones liquified and is constantly warned that it will happen to him if he disbehaves. He is nolonger only afraid of being punished, the thought of disobedience also terrifies him enough to go beyond his limits in order to obey.

Captain Kaenos's "reason" for such strange, cruel punishments is that it teaches the mage that it has no control over its life or anything else. It must submit entirely to its master's will without a thought of its own. The mage will be totally bound to its master and will not act of its own accord. He has succeeded to some extent, the mage is totally submissive but it still shows signs of thought. Having thoughts and ideas is dangerous because it may cause the mage to disobey its master.

Commentary: This character was pretty much made to be beaten up. I do have a thread idea where he is healed and recouperates though.

Captain Kaenos has been demoted from Army rank O-3 Captain to O-2 First Lieutenant after "Off to Market". Zelo does not yet know this.

Threads:

Nick-names: Darg, Dagger.
Zodiac Sign: Orion.
Age: 19.
Gender: Female.
Sexual Orientation: Straight.
Single or Taken? Single.
Species: Human.
Blood-type: A-.
Height: 5'6".
Weight: None of your business!
Eye Colour: Green.
Hair Colour: Dirty blonde.
Affiliation: Anyone willing to buy weapons.
Religion believes in one Goddess. Men are inferior.
Occupation: Arms dealer.
Birth Place: Aedolis.
Location: Usually Aedolis, but can get to most places.

Physical Description: Has several small scars across her face and more on her body, otherwise she is fairly plain and unnoticeable. She has to be, her job is dangerous.

Personality: Think of all the -ist words (eg. racist) and she probably is that. She cares for nobody but herself, possible buyers and weapons. She doesn't care who gets in her way or what happens to them.

Weaknesses: Pigheaded, rude, not very bright, not very strong, has no magical powers.

Strengths: Good with weapons.

Likes: Weapons.

Dislikes: Men, aliens, mages, old people, laws.

Magic/Abilities: None.

Family: Mage loving leftists.

Friends: No real friends but Captain Kaenos is a "contact".

Foes: Libra: stupid cowardly leftists.

History: Grew up in Aedolis, her family didn't like it there so they left for Libra.

Commentary: Feel free to take her down in a fight. She probably needs to bring her ego down a notch.

Threads: None yet.

VCN and Network: None

Image: Please excuse the amount of suckiness this image entails. I failed at the outlining. If you look at where her waist it, that is where her leg feathers go to. She has no feathers on her chest or back (except where the wings connect). There are talons at the ends of those feet, I just hadn't drawn them in yet. If you want to get an idea of her height (I still have to calculate it sorry guys), her upper body is the same proportions as that of a normal 5'5" female.
http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs32/i/2008/207/3/4/Failure_at_Demya_by_mdu_ntr.jpg

In this one she is missing gold flecks in her hair and feathers and has an extra drome tail. She does not have a drome tail, she has a bird's one.
http://public2.tektek.org/img/av/0808/d21/0455/fde152.png

Gender: Female

Height: I finally calculated it!!! 228.56cm or 7'5.96" tall. I didn't think she'd be that tall O.O if anyone is interested in checking the math, just PM me.

Race: Harpie

Age: Immortal, roughly 13000 years old I think.

Birthday: Spring

Magical abilities: Control of vines, minor psychic abilities.

Strengths: Fast flier, knows many languages and histories that most people don't, has a lot of experience in battle, bravery.

Weaknesses: Vanity, rudeness, stubbornness, annoying, relatively unintelligent, racism.

Personality: Demya hates humans as a race because of how they have destroyed the Earth TWICE, enforce slavery, abuse others for sadistic pleasure and a whole long list of travesties. She once ate humans and hunted them, believing that killing them off would slow or stop the destruction of Earth. She may or may not have been wrong but her and her sister failed. She has since spent a lot of time with other groups (such as hippies) that wanted to help the Earth. She found many of them to be useless so she went her own way. She has discovered something (I won't reveal it until it's in a thread) that could reverse some of the effects but she cannot do it on her own. She is now pilot candidate by her own choosing, thinking that if she became a pilot, the Aedolisians would help her. (By own choosing, I mean she let herself be caught. At least they stuck with the planet they destroyed, unlike those foul slavers: the Edanithians.

Despite how much humans have done to the world and how stupid she thinks they are, she does have some compassion towards them individually (or at least some of them). This can often be misdirected and misunderstood, especially if she starts talking about what she's done in the past. In the end she really does want to get people to understand the Earth and do the right thing, which to her is healing the Earth.

Appearance: Brown eyes, lithe, deep tanned skin and red to gold feathers and hair. She is very tall and has short hair, which is fashioned into an sharp, angled bob. Is missing her right arm where it was ripped off in a battle and has been replaced with a very basic, lifelike mechanical limb. It is lifelike enough that others cannot notice it unless she points it out.

Friends: Her sister Vyne and Mara.

Pilot mentor: Victor.

Family: Her sister, Vyne.

History: Was born before the first holocaust and has a few memories of it. She remembers a great deal of history after the holocaust though. She believes that she and her sister are the only harpies in existence. She does not know what has happened to her sister and thinks that it is probably better that Vyne died. The thought of the once proud harpy locked away in some dark place for all eternity is just too much to think of. Nomatter how much they think they hate eachother, Vyne will always be her big sister.

Religion: Christian, whatever that is. She believes in a God and that Jesus is the son of God sent to stop humans destroying the world. God failed big time. She doesn't really believe in him as much as she once did (before the first holocaust) because if he was really god, why would he let humans destroy everything he created?

Foes: Edanith, Mordecai. She doesn't like TRIM but she sees the other two as more of a threat.

You could probably count Vyne as a foe too. Demya still cares for her sister but Vyne was cruel in their last battle and it cut her very deep. Vyne still hates Demya and considers her as worse than humans because Demya knows the difference between right and wrong.

Sexual orientation: Straight

Death: Both harpies are totally immortal. This means that nomatter what you do, they cannot die. For example, if you remove Demya's body, the head will still function and she will still be able to use both her psychic and vine-mage powers. She would now have no functions in her body but would be able to attach her head to vines and move around that way, using the vine's senses (plants are sensitive to touch, light, gravity and chemicals to name a few) to guide her.

If you remove her head from her brain, the organ will be what is left of her and she will keep on living, controlling vines and being a psychic. In this state she would not be able to see, hear, speak, smell but she would still be able to use the vine's senses to keep in touch with her environment.

If you liquefy her brain there will still be transferrals of energy between the compounds or atoms, even though they are so far apart. She will still go on thinking, living, being psychic and controlling vines.

If you want to know beyond this level, feel free to ask but I would just be guessing as to how it could work.

Threads:
stuff

I'm thinking to getting back into my writing and drawing and going on sote/rote hiatus. I really think one of the people on there doesn't like me or thinks I'm stalking them. I hope they don't because they're fun to rp with. I know they're online because I can see them status when I'm on. The thing is I don't see them online on msn, which makes me think they've blocked me.

The good news is though, I've met a girl I really like on there. We talk on msn online all the time. She's so cute and huggy. She's been showing me a lot of her pictures and I really wish I had some to show too. I mean I have a couple... I should really put them on here for you all to look at too. I'll do that at the end of this post. We hug and stuff a lot.

I almost scanned in a picture I drew of something that happened in one of the bad nightmares. When I looked at it I remembered why I don't show it to people.

I'm feeling depressed a bit at the moment, though not as bad as earlier today. For the past few days (not sure how many exactly) I've been having nightmares and waking up in cold sweat. I don't mind the nightmares all that much, they're only imaginative at the moment rather than scary. The other symptoms are: dizziness, sweaty sheets (yuck), higher than my normal BP and weight loss. Normal BP is 130/90, my current BP is 120/75 and my normal BP is about 90/60 (usually less). It all doesn't seem right so (with the urgings of Katie) I'm going to the doctor on Monday.

Katie and I went to the movies to watch Hellboy 2 the day it came out. It was really good. I had planned to give her a treat because she's been shouting me so much since I got out of uni, (which means no more working at the labs). Alas, my pay from working as a sales rep STILL has not gone through and it is over the three weeks since I started.

What else... Dad yelled at me for speaking while he was speaking to Juliana. I wasn't even talking to him. Katie and I spoke in hushed voices and she was shocked and whispered that he was rude. Oh well, we all know he can be a jerk.

Well, knowing me I will either post like crazy for a month then not again for another few, or I will just not post for a long time after this. Don't worry if you don't hear from me in a while, I'm not going to do anything stupid.

Now I was going to put some pictures on here...

Well, this one is of Johnathan Foolsfoot, 4, and Fiona Foolsfoot, 9. Johnathan has hurt his knee or has been picked on. NO, she is not trying to remove his kneecap (someone asked).

This is Serigala, the reason she is on a box is because there are other characters next to her and she is very short. She is a werewolf/ herbalist/ surgeon and she has curly grey hair, even though she is young.

This is slave mage number 102379 (aka Zelo). This was a really rough sketch so I could show one of the other charaetrs just how sick he is.

Another Serigala picture, this one is a little older. Somebody put it on their list of "worst shit I have ever seen".

Another Fiona Foolsfoot image. You can see why she hates her costume. Umfortunately, I still haven't been able to draw her head. Epic fail.

Jules has been tripping over it so much and kicking out deliberately that I cut it and remade the connection between the blue and the yellow bit. I'm on the net so I fixed it.

Oh, yeah, Jules is a smoker.

Grandpa died this morning. We're going to NSW on Saturday, which means busy busy busy. Tomorrow (Friday) I am going to the Abbey Hall to get fitted and orientated then I'm meeting up witha friend of a friend who I kinda like: Tony.

Weird that I like someone. I didn't think it would happen for a very long time.

Hmm, I have no idea what to do. My family are mostly Christian and there will be a funeral. Funerals usually involve crying but I'm not sad. It's kinda like I would rather have people happy when I die rather than sad and I'm sure most people would not want their family to get too down about it. I'm just not sad when society thinks that people should be sad and mournful. Ah well, best not go making things to worry about.

I may be moving out within the next month to live with some friends of mine: Kahlia and Kassy. Hopefully we can find a 4th person so we can split the rent a bit further. I suggested Tanya but they don't really want to live with her because she isn't that good at cleaning and if Tanya was there, Chris would be there too. Chris is a dirty shit.

Strange change of mood. And a masachistic sreak

So yes. Odd thing happened today. My mood improved by sharpeneng my favourite knife. Creepy hey? Especially considereing I ran my finger along it and was impressed that it was able to cut skin easily (no, I wasn't stupid enough to draw blood).

I also got to scare my sister's friend.
me to Jules's friend: nice pjs
Jules: yeah, she's so cute
me: ya, she's so cute I could cut her up and eat her
Jules's friend: *hides behind Jules*

I love freaking out Jules's friends. I once had one of her friends believe I collected toe nails and skin.

Terralga update: Future of Terralga. Centaurs and humans are still at war but on a larger scale (think Southern continent vrs Northern continent). The elvish have been enslaved and are fobidden from singing. Anyone who sings gets their tounge cut out.

welcome to the dark side

I have a friend in hospital with a few mental issues. I can't really go into specifics but she has blood pressure problems and collapsed at uni 29th May. She was taken to hospital then when she woke the next day she was taken to the psych ward. She has been in there ever since and is getting worse. The place is very run down, they have very little to do and all the friends she made have left. She is not a big eater and they keep making her eat, she feels intimidated by the doctors and now they are changing her medications around then re-changing them back with a higher dose. When she cries they keep her longer so she cries more then they put her in the psych intensive ward and she cries even more. She has nowhere she can get any privacy except when she is allowed out into the town for an hour or so in the company of someone. They should have let her out long ago, being in there is what is making her upset. Dad has offered for her to stay here until she gets back on her feet (the people she lives with have been stealing from her (I saw proof when I went to pick some stuff up for her) and are hot-cold, only being nice when they want something).

I want to cry but I can't. I'm walking towards the dark place, Peter and Jules are pretty much ganging up on me and I really don't want to do uni anymore. Actually I kinda didn't enjoy uni from week 9 (29th April).

In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk;
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple doth appear.
No doors there are to this stronghold --
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.

A Clockwork Orange O.O

Jules has been using dad's bike because her's is the wrong colour (dark purple). Jules left the bike at uni overnight and it got stolen. I was walking home one night and saw a bike that looked like dad's and thought it was a coincidence. Jules got a new bike, which she has to pay $10 per week for. Today dad told me that it was his bike that got stolen and pointed out that I saw one like his. We went over there and it turned out it was his bike. Now I get the purple bike, which is rather amusing because Jules claimed my bike a year or so ago and it was also purple (and got stolen when Jules left it on the front lawn).

Today was the first day in a long time where I had the whole day off. What did I do? Clean my room. It is now brand-spanking-clean. Now when Flavia comes over she will be less likely to turn her nose up at the fact that I sleep in a garage. Damn that room is awesome.

I just wanted to show this image. I'll take one of my room soon.

This was a saved draft. Odd. Oh well, on to what I was going to write.

I watched a movie that was recommended to me today: A Clockwork Orange. Brenton recommeded it to me in year 12. I have what question: Why the hell would you do that? Seriously! How many times did I have my fingers covering things I did not want to see? No, just no. That was sick and twisted, just like the movie.

Something upsetting

The Grampians is a sanctuary for endangered wildlife, renouned for its beauty. It is also a place very close to my heart. If you ever make your way down to Victoria, go to Halls Gap and make your way around from there. I also recommend the Pinnacle. Before I go on I just want everyone to look at these images. http://www.grampiansnationalpark.com/grampians/national/park/firephotos.asp

http://www.grampiansnationalpark.com/grampians/national/park/fire2006.asp This is a map of the areas destroyed in the fire.

The main reason that fire crews were not in there earlier was all the hoops and bullshit people had to go through. The government was more worried about the prospect of damage caused by teams enterring the Grampians rather than saving the environment and as a result livelihoods, livestock and wildlife was lost.

Another reason is that the Victorian Government has been far more interested in purchasing land for parks rather than maintaining those it already protects. Even as a child I remember that there was only one main road in and out of Halls Gap and those roads were not made for heavy use. There should have been better roads in and out of the area.

This is something that I think needs quoting:

When investigated, an incident report will show that a single tree was
reported burning in the Grampians National Park on Thursday 19th January.
However, little if any action was permitted due to bureaucratic red tape
eg. damage to native vegetation in getting equipment to the seat of the
fire.

http://fordaustraliaforums.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-15954.html Report on the Grampians fires written by local Upper House Liberal John Vogels MP
31 January 2006

This truly breaks my heart to read something like this.

An unusual conversation

I have just had a friend try to convert me to druidism. She was fascinated that I accepted what she said even though I said I was athiest. I then explained that although I do not believe in what she believes, I believe she is telling the truth. After a short conversation about good and evil, (she believes that good and evil is due to influence and I believe it is by people's acts) she said that her um, I forgot what she called them, wanted me to become a druid too. I would love to but I don't believe in that sort of stuff. I feel upset now and its very hard to determine why.

To finish on a brighter note, I went to Rach's today and had heaps of fun. Tomorrow I am going to Brissy to try out for Australian Idol. I'm not planning to go anywhere with it, I just want a less biased opinion. My friends will say that I sound good, even if I suck and Dad will say I suck, even if I'm good.

I'm also doing homework. If you want I could post the homeworky things. They are interesting but they kinda suck.

Psychiatrist

I went to my new psychiatrist on Wednesday. He doesn't think I've got textbook depression/ anxiety. He thinks its got a bit of bipolar and paranoia mixed in. It sounds a bit more accurate. He's not going to change my meds just yet, he's to learn a bit more first.

I probably should have told him that I don't remember about my Mum being violent. I said that she was but I'm not sure what else I mentioned. He had a microtaker.

I'm to write in a notebook/diary when I do things out of the ordinary. Eg, call out "bananahammock" in the cinemas again or if I have a random emotional outbreak thing. I am now 70kg.

I should be in bed.

You scored as Alice
Have you fallen down the rabbit hole lately? Or played croquet with a deck of cards? Either way, you're so very much like Alice! Her wild imagination and constant ability to daydream got her in so much trouble - you've probably heard your mother or teacher lecture you about having your head in the clouds!
Long time, no post

So um. Hello. For those who may have forgotten me I am Chrystle *waves*.

Life is going good. I'm spending a lot of time at uni, with Katie and on SotE. I've been doing a bit on my Centaur story too.

Mum is struggling a bit at uni and I'm worried that she might be doing too much. She's doing 4 subjects where even people my age usually do 3.

Editing is going very well. I've got HDs all the way through and I'm hoping my assignment will get one too. I'm not enjoying my Immunology poster thing. I'm working on the activities of propolis on the immune system. I'm really regretting we chose propolis. Core is boring as always and physiology is fairly hard.

I drew a picture and scanned it into deviantart. It got put into someone's "worst shit I've ever seen" list. That kinda hurt because I know I'm not good at drawing but it was still mean for someone to do that.

It's rainign at the moment. I love the rain. OOO, and guess what? I have satin bedsheets! Emma had us look after some bed linen and a mettress for her friend but the friend never came, so she said we could have the bed. *griuns*

Thankyou Emma. *Thankyoupoke*

A promise of growth

That is what I called the email to the Vice Chancellor of the Uni. I think it was a good idea, even if I didn't get the answer I was hoping.

Dear Chrystle,

Thanks for taking the time and expressing the interest in a beer garden in your email.

From the earliest days of planning, and reflected in our master plan, we have been concerned about the environmental fragility of this campus, and also our need to genuinely engage with the community and not create a separate community at the University.

Combining these two themes behind planning, has meant that this University campus has developed in a different way, for example, with respect to a bar or beer garden, from other universities.

We want to integrate the campus with the Sippy Downs Township, even though this means delays. There will be beer gardens, wine bars, taverns and other leisure venues in the town for us all to access. We do not need to use scarce resources to replicate such plans, when we desperately need such funds for further academic developments.

We need to support such developments as you suggest, in the township, and their provision and usage will be accelerated as a result.

Regards,

Professor Paul Thomas AM
Vice-Chancellor

>>> Chrystle Brooks 10/04/2008 10:54 am >>>
Dear VC Paul Thomas,
We are the only university in Queensland that does not have a beer garden or some sort of alcohol dispensary, even though we are a licenced area. Though we are still an up-and-coming university, we are seen as one of the forerunners of education in our community. Having a beer garden would help the growth of the University in a number of ways, including making our university more appealing to the community.

Firstly, we already have two cafes (and a third underway) and having a beer garden would create another avenue for friendly socialisation. If planned correctly, this would help our university to appear more open and friendly, thus increasing student interest and hopefully, attendance.

Secondly, offering alcohol is another way to create income. The revenue produced in a beer garden could be used to further our advancement by helping to fund infrastructure, services and appliances such as printers.

Thirdly, the beer garden would create jobs, which could be given to students. Many students find it hard to find jobs in the local area. Many employers look for fifteen-year-olds as they are cheaper to employ. By employing university students, we would be helping students cover the financial costs of coming to university.

Fourthly, we already have two cafes and the construction of the third has been halted. This creates an opportunity for the third cafe to be used as a beer garden. Functions and seminars have already been held in LT7 and the deck above. Using this third cafe to distribute wine during these functions would be far easier and would appear more refined in the eyes of the public and our associates.

Lastly, the third cafe may still be used to distrubute food. Counter lunches, such as fish and chips, would bring a different variety of food to the university. The area there is already a lovely spot to sit and talk, why not offer staff and students the opportunity to enjoy a good wine and meal in the shade?

We have a great opportunity in our hands: a place for both staff and students to enjoy a break between classes. It would be a shame to let such an opportunity to go to waste.
Yours sincerly,
Chrystle Brooks

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

Sorry I have been really lazy about posting recently (and thanks for the nudge *pokes tounge*). Um, I'll give you a nice big letter when I get home. :)

This is the second Wednesday in a row. Yesterday I accidently went by Wednesday's timetable and missed my classes. Wednesday's classes start at 1pm and tuesday's finish at 1pm.

I am now up to Inuyasha 49, am starting to get nibbles on Spirits of the Earth and have a BBQ tonight, in which I make the tuna mornay.

I have natural nit stuff in my hair to see if I can get rid of what I thik may be fleas. I have no idea what they are but they leave pimple-sized bumps on my head near the nape and ears so I assume they are fleas.

Oh crap!

<td align="center">You most resemble Michael Jackson

You are different from most people. You don’t follow the social norms of the society you live in and live on impulse. You are an easy target for critics, but you don’t let their opinions get you down. You are cool on your own terms.

Take this quiz at QuizGalaxy.com</td>

NOOOOO! I feel seedy now.

Your darkest secret is:

You have asked for a smile at McDonald's

Actually, yes. I didn't connect that a smile was the facial expression and wanted to find out what it was. I then got confused when I thought I didn't get one. I then asked what it was.

Life I know it

I am now in my third week of a very productive uni semester. So far I have done a lot of studying, classes, helping Katie, helped Linda with her lab tech work, cooked dinners, mutliple lots of cleaning, moved stuff around my room, read Obernewtyn, tryed to stop the Cat eating frogs, smacked the Cat, had a poster EATEN by Cat, saved a bird from Cat ( I hope it lived), went to a few BBQs, started karate, had muscle pains from using previously unused muscles, hung out with Katie, watched TV, watched immunology animations, watched Inuyasha 1-8, used the internet and probably a fair bit more. Somewhere amongst that I have still had time to sleep. Man I am tired.

So now where? I hope to get a job with Fiona doing paid lab work and tutor people. The money will go to savings so that I can get that $1000 to leave home. On Thursday I have a doctors appointment because my meds may need adjusting. I have been very short of focus, had sleeping troubles, forgetful, had trouble with words and forgot people I met. I say I have been like this since I was a kid but Linda thinks it may be that my meds are playing up. I may have had an increase in these things but they have always been there.

So yes, I really hope things will stay this way for a while. I do think I am overloading myself but hopefully life will settle down as uni progresses.

Dad has been opkay other than rubbing the wrong way a couple of times. Jules is skipping school to the point where I cannot tell when she is faking or not. I haven't talked with Peter much since he left home; I should call him. Mum is going well, though her uni load seems a little heavy (me being a hypocrit). Linda as always is nice but probably has a bit much on her plate. Nanna is doing well and has been travelling a bit, which probably means Grandpa has moved into a nursing home. I shall ask how things are next time she calls. Robyn and Peter are happy and Amber is back at uni. I have no idea how the Davids are. Adrian has called up a couple of times, offering advice and very much reminding me of LLewellyn out of "Ozy and Millie". Actually, that is a very good description.

Now to go because Dad is back.

hot-hot-hot

It has been very hot for the past few days, as you can guess by my earlier whining post.

Yesterday Dad and I cleaned out Peter's garage and moved his stuff into the loungeroom then started moving my stuff in. We also went into uni where I discovered that the lecture notes I had printed for this semester were put on the portal by mistake. I printed off the new notes as well as the ones for another subject. Two of four subjects still have not put this weeks lecture notes up yet. *disgruntled noise*

We went to the Kawana hotel for dinner and I had a seafood basket. It was nice but Linda's mango chicken wasn't cooked properly so she brought it home for the dog (she did pay $20 for it). Dad had come green curry thing and Matt had linguini fettucini. It was very big so he gave some to Linda when he couldn't finish it. While Linda and Dad lined up Matt and I talked, I always have trouble talking with him because we have very little in common even though I like him very much as a person. He said that he gets on well with me but he really doesn't like Juliana. Oh boy he hates her and with good reason. She has said a lot of disgusting things about his Mum (Linda). Peter, he finds has very little personality.

Jules just got home and the first thing she said when she saw my room was "wow, you got a lodda books." LOL Then she went on to say that the books were the first thing she noticed.

Today I finished moving my stuff in and started packing things away. It is going to take a while to get it all sorted, I cannot move my books until I move my bookshelves. I cannot move my bookshelves until Dad sorts his stuff in there. I also read some more of Obernewtyn. I recommend it to everyone who likes books, especially young adults.

Tomorrow I have Immunology from 1pm. I thought it started at 11am so I have longer to sleep in. I will be going to bed early and getting up early. Say, ten to ten...or 9am. I am all set for uni tomorrow and now I am going ot have a shower then read my textbook.

Until I write again...and afterwards,
Enjoy your lives.
